About

Susan has written four Christmas-themed romance novels with a fifth book, a witchy romance, published in June 2025. Readers can usually find snippets of the author’s own adventures and favourite things woven into her stories. If she wasn’t a human writer, she would have liked to be a mermaid, despite the fact that she really doesn’t like seafood.

Living in the beautiful Blue Mountains, the stunning scenery inspires her every day. From early mists to sparkling, sunny days and the crisp mornings of autumn, the mountains are a truly magical place.

Susan has been an avid writer of fiction since she was a child, writing and performing plays in her primary school years and usually casting herself in the main role. Now, as a full-time author, she writes in several genres of romance fiction.

Some of her favourite things

Susan loves papercrafting with friends, making cards for all occasions (especially for Christmas), writing actual letters (with wax seals, a new delight) and sketching or painting.

She is often found enjoying coffee or Devonshire teas with friends (jam first, cream on top!)

or travelling to wonderful locations that inspire her writing.

Susan is a big fan of butter tarts, Nanaimo bars (both Canadian specialties) and homemade mince pies (not her own, unfortunately). Her novels are filled with the warmth and romance of Christmas, transporting readers to festive settings around the globe.

Susan’s novels include The Christmas Cruise (2020), A Magical New York Minute (2020), Twelve Gifts of Christmas (2022), A Gingerbread Christmas (2023) and Love At Second Sight (2025).
